Yes, yes, I know. Donut shops come and go. Well, there are many donut shops that stand out as you scour the road. Some are legendary. Randy's Donuts comes to mind. Some are roadside treasures and have appeared in many publications. The Donut Hole comes to mind. And some are downright fun. The Donut Kitchen comes to mind.
Donut Kitchen (Closed and
boarded up)
The Donut Kitchen closed down a few years ago and eventually became a target to tag artists. While many hoped that the lil' old roadside donut stand would reopen, that was not to be the case. Yep, all that's left at the site is now dirt. The Donut Kitchen is now gone. A Walgreens is opening up nearby. Get the picture?

The Donut Kitchen always seemed a bit of an anomaly... sitting alongside
the busy boulevard, dwarfed by fast food mega joints and sprouting up
strip malls. Yet, the Donut Kitchen went along, merrily doing its business
selling donuts out of its little stand.
