A good example of the nostalgic decline of some of the old faithful chains, this White Tower is still cooking in Dayton, Ohio. Only one of two remaining in Dayton, White Tower is an old chain that used to be quite prevalent on the East Coast.

Sadly, Holland's Hamburgers was recently torn down from its location on West Roosevelt Road in Chicago. The sign stood for many years on an empty lot but almost certainly made it to the scrap yard before it could be saved. This sign still advertises 15 cent hamburgers!
