Take a look at Bud's Hamburgers of Detroit. Looks like this place was a former Brayz(?) given the looks of the donkey on the roof in the front.
Here's a Brayz Hamburgers, found in Hazel Park, MI.
Here's another Carter's Hamburgers, this one found in Detroit that's right up the alley of the other white burger buildings.
McDonald's According to the McDonald's corporate website, the McDonald's #1 Store Museum is a "recreation of the first McDonald's Restaurant opened in Des Plaines, Illinois by McDonald's Corporation founder, Ray Kroc, on April 15, 1955."
Traveling through Indianapolis and hungry for a quick bite? Well, how about this sign that says 15 cent hamburgers? The only problem is, there is no building to go with it.
Peppy's Grill in Indianapolis fits the slot of neighborhood burger stand. Check out the single dining table and umbrella by the curb.
