UPDATE 07/07 : The Reno Corsi Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge stood abandoned for many years. In 2005, the neon sign was removed. A Sports Bar is the building's latest tenant. Many thanks to Bruce R. Cassi for update. 07-07

Route 66The Ariston Cafe dates back to 1924, when it was first opened in Carlinville. After moving to Litchfield in 1929, the Ariston has been at its location along the Mother Road since 1935. Route 66The Red Cedar Inn is another Route 66 legend in MO. Located in Pacific, MO, the Red Cedar Inn was founded in 1934 and was named to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003. According to Route 66 News, the Red Cedar Inn was closed in March 2005 and was being considered for purchase by the city of Pacific.
