Here is a neat little root beer joint called Eddie's Grill found while driving along Lake Erie in the small resort town of Geneva on the Lake. It is hard to ignore the appeal of the root beer barrel on the counter on perfect summer day such this one in May 1997. 01-07

Evergreen Cocktail Room (Demolished)

The Evergreen Cocktail Room was on the grounds of the Evergreen Country Club, the village golf course. The restaurant burned down in the early part of the 1990's. the sign had been inoperative for many years. The sign was taken down in 2002. 04-07

Tiebel's Restaurant (Removed)

The giant neon "T" for Tiebel's Restaurant has been gone for over 10 + years. It was destroyed when it was struck by lightning one evening and was toppled over in the parking lot. The restaurant lost power and had to send all the customers and employees home early that night. The sign was replaced with a backlit plastic sign. Business is thriving in its 77th year. 07-07
