Here's a shot of the Seville Motel in Chicago.
Probably one of the last mid-century/roadside style hotels still left standing in the Chicago Loop District, the Ohio House Motel even features a coffee shop within the complex.
The Melody Lane Inn features something original on its marquee... yes... it is a music note! This motel name and sign is fitting for its location in Branson, MO.
The Cavalier Motel in Detroit, MI features an old vintage sign that hearkens back to the colonial days.
The Wayfare Motel looks like a 1930's/40's marquee. Interesting to see how times have changed... you can get free Showtime here.
The Arrow Head Motel of Columbia, MO sports an arrowhead motif on its marquee. Also features free toll calls.
The Eastwood Motel in Columbia, MO sports a very tall sign designed to catch the eye of travelers a block away.
Sunset Motel The Sunset Motel in Athens, OH sports a huge overhanging sharp boomerang/arrow, extending across the parking lot.
The Brookside Motel stands tall in Columbus, OH with its eye catching reddish, pink, and yellow marquee. This motel is located along the main drag through town which is Main Street.

The Downers Grove Motel in Illinois sports a huge arrow. The marquee itself looks to be in great shape. It's always interesting to see a motel sign that advertises "color TV."
The Sands Motel is another of the St Ignace roadside motels that is closed and for sale. Not sure what the "yes no" on the sign is for. Most likely for vacancy? 12-08
Here's the rather eye-catching sign for the Pony Express Motel in Saint Joseph, MO. This size of the sign dwarfs the vehicles underneath. Word is the Pony Express sign is now located outside of the Pony Express Museum. 10-10

Check out this marquee at the Rollin' Wheels Motel in Chicago, IL. The motel sign is a throwback to the era when having a TV and air conditioned were considered selling points to the weary travelers looking for a nice place to spend the evening and grab a rest. 12-10
