Here's a nice shot of the Elephant Car Wash in Seattle, WA. One of the family of Elephant car washes, this one still appears to be in great condition. Check out the way the huge pink elephant character appears to be washing himself with the spout made up of little light bulbs.
Here's an old car wash that reminiscent of the googie style ones found in other areas. The boomerang supports are both functional and eye-catching in the way they support the structure as well as draw attention to what otherwise would be just another car wash.
