This drive-in theatre was still showing first run movies when these photos were taken. Although the screen tower was starting to look a little worn for wear, the grounds at the North Salem Drive-in Theatre in Salem, OR were immaculate and the marquee still pointed the way towards the ticket booths. Not sure of the current status of the North Salem Drive-in. 10-08
The Puget Park Drive-in Theatre is an old favorite for those familiar with the outdoor movie experience in Everett, WA. The Puget Park opened in 1971 and has been serving the ozoner community ever since. 10-08
(Far left) The gates are now open at the entranceway to the Puget Park Drive-in (Near left) The screen tower is a can't miss sight for those looking to grab an open air movie experience.
Check out the Wheel-In Drive-in Theatre in Port Townsend, WA. The Wheel-In was built in 1952 and is a single screener. The Wheel-In is still in operation today. See more information at this tribute page to the Wheel-in. 10-08 Below are more photos of the Wheel-In.
