The Boulder Theatre in Boulder, CO is still open amidst a revitalized downtown. Best of all, the neon at this location still is in great working order and lights up the street.
At night, the flickering bulbs of the Crown Theatre marquee light up, drawing in the crowds.
The Reel Theatre in Heber City features neon lettering on its front advertising board.
The Dogie Theatre and this marquee is located in New Castle, WY. The "dogie" winks at night. It lights one eye, lights the other eye, then both. Check out this shot of the "dogie" lit up in neon. Information about the theatre can be found at the Dogie Theatre website. 12-07
The Nuart Theatre is a familiar sight to see along Main Street in downtown Moscow, ID with its glowing marquee. The Nuart opened as a movie house in 1935 and was home to many a first-run movie. The Nuart closed its doors in 1999 then reopened under the new ownership of Community Christian Ministries in 2004. Today, the Nuart Theatre serves as home to a non-profit outreach ministry that uses the former theatre as an outreach center and street ministry.
