Beach House Motel

The Beach House has a much better looking sign than it does accommodations. It is on the beach side of the road as the name suggests.

The Arvilla Motel has a great design jog in it that also serves as its name plate. There are a great number of motels on this strip.

The Surf Motel is located just a few steps from the beach in Treasure Island, Florida. Across the street is The Swashbuckler. It is comprised of two buildings. Check out the entrance building, which has a real neat white bar detail.

Bilmar
Treasure Island, FL

The Bilmar shadows all the smaller motels. It is located in the heart of Treasure Island. The building shown is only part of several smaller buildings that make up the place. This is the kind of art deco building that Miami gets all the credit for having.

Swashbuckler Motel

The Swashbuckler Motel is located in Treasure Island in Florida. Pretty fitting location for a place with a name like that. Of note is the deco design on the building's left side. Rooms start at just $29 a night. Pretty cheap for a sleep on the beach.

Check out this marquee for the Blue Waters Motel, located in the Florida Keys.

Trails End
Treasure Island, FL

This is probably one of the simplest designs of a motel along the beach area of St. Petersburg's coast. It also has one of the best names. With the palm tree and script lettering it has all the elements of an old Florida postcard.
