Check out this theatre in Panama City, FL. Known as the Martin Theatre, the lines and colors still bring back memories of the theatres original heyday.

According to the official Martin Theatre website, the theatre first opened in 1936 and was originally called the Ritz. The theatre then changed its name to the Martin Theatre in the early 1950's then closed in 1978.

After over a decade vacant and becoming run down, the Panama City Downtown Improvement Board purchased the building and eventually reopened the theatre again in November 1990. See the Martin Theatre website for more information. 12-10
