This sign was all that is left of the Pure gas station in Dinwiddie, VA. Check out the old Pure logo on this lonely roadside sign still standing tall. 08-08


Union 76 Gas (Closed)

This was a small Union 76 service station in Overshot, NC off of Hwy 701.  It appears to be at least from the 70’s because of the design on the logo, but not sure. 08-08


Emporia Travel (Closed)

The Emporia Travel is the gas station that sits with the Dixie Motel on US 301-N in Emporia VA. 08-08

(Below) Mount Airy, NC is home to Wally's Service Station. Mount Airy is often referred to as Mayberry and is the home of Andy Griffith. This station is now a gift shop. The car and a few others offer tours of the town. 10-08

Here's an old Sinclair Oil company place located in Talledega County, AL. The old Sinclair sign was on a building that looks as if it is now a residence. 01-09
