Here is a neon sign for the Cosmorama that is a real eye catcher located in a small shopping center on Park Avenue. The two blue rings revolve around the ball at the top of the sign. It's only been in place for a few years, but it's a fascinating reminder of the more elaborate neon signs of years gone by. 07-06

 

Catfish Cabin

This neon sign advertises a favorite restaurant. Memphis is mainly known for it's BBQ, but catfish is a favorite also. The Catfish Cabin is located in the Airport area of Memphis. 07-06

A revolving spiked neon ball that has been a fixture in front of Joe's Liquor Store for more years than I can remember.

It apparently got it's nickname from the Russian space shuttle. Cybil Shepherd even references it in her autobiography, "Cybil Disobedience." 07-06
