Here's the front of the former Cohen's Department Store in Coolidge, AZ. Built in 1952, the Cohen's building features some distinct elements from mid-century building design.

Cohen's eventually changed ownership and became Brooks Popular Department Store before closing down in 1987.

There is a mural in front of the store that illustrates the history of the area, including images of the Casa Grande Ruins. 03-06

Check out the VFW sign and building in Coolidge, AZ. This is the VFW Post located at 3713 W. Coolidge Ave. The marquee for this post is in the traditional red, white and blue colors. 03-06

The Crown Filter Queen place is still all pretty much original including the same family that owns it. The business started in 1949 then moved to this building in about 1953.
