Peter N' Rae's Cafe is an old roadside cafe than unfortunately is no longer in business. UPDATE 07/03 : The cafe has now been demolished as per the photo on the bottom right. Another roadside treasure has succumbed to time. Many thanks to Jimmy Bowman for update on fate of cafe and for photo. 07-03
The old roadside cafe you see on the right is Lyn's Cafe. The signs are what makes the look of this place great. Lyn's is located off of Avenue 200 in Tulare.
Here's an interesting looking marquee advertising the Eagle Cafe. From a distance, the sign looks like an old VFW sign or something.
Zingo's Cafe features a neon sign that points the way in to the eating area. However, be careful not to block the path of the trucking area or be prepared to get dusted.
It's hard to go wrong eating at a cafe called the City Cafe. Can't personally vouch for the food here, but the sign itself is nice. 03-05
The Tecalote Cafe in Fresno also features dancing. 02-06
Firebaugh, CA is home to the El Capitan Cafe and its old time-worn sign. Not sure for how many years the El Capitan Cafe has been serving hungry patrons in Firebaugh. 03-06
