This night shot of the Far East restaurant marquee gives off an eerie glow. Well, it at least has this glow if you shine a light off of it. This shot brings out a wonder of what the sign must've looked like back in its neon heyday.
Here's a lit up marquee advertising Shaw's Restaurant and their early bird dinners.
This shot is of Andre's Burgers located in the Central Valley. Yep, the giant burger looks huge as advertised on the sign. Too bad the portions aren't as large in real life.
At night, the front facade of the Tokyo Gardens Restaurant really lights up the area. Here's the billboard that directs the traveler into the restaurant.
While traveling up through the Central Plains of California, check out the neon of Milt's, right off the 99. The neon is usually kept up on this one.
This neon shot of The Branding Iron can be seen from blocks away. Also take a look at this sign in the day.
Zingo's Cafe features a neon sign that points the way in to the eating area. However, be careful not to block the path of the trucking area or be prepared to get dusted.
Brad's Restaurant in Pismo Beach features a full blown fish in neon to catch the eye of both locals and tourists.
The neon still glows of the marquee at the Mexicali Mexican Food restaurant in the Central California town of Bakersfi9eld. Well, at least that's not the only thing that glows. The glow of the traffic lights heading into the parking lot on a busy summer weekend evening also seems to cast quite a glow.
