Here's the marquee for the Key Club in Emeryville. This sign advertises the club that was part of the Key Hotel complex. Like the hotel itself, this club and marquee are no more.
The conversation has ceased at The Avalon Social Club in Emeryville, a location that has been demolished like many of the roadside businesses of yesteryear that used to serve the city.
The Fratellanza Club in Oakland features a marquee that's still intact a business that is still open. Then again, this club is not located in Emeryville.
