The Falcon Lodge in Kings Beach features an old roadside marquee with a falcon perched atop.
Check out this sign for what appears to be a comfy place. Any place with the name of Little Bear sounds cozy with the pictures of the friendly and cozy like bears on the marquee.
While not quite a motel, the Donner Trail Cabins may be worth a visit if you're in the Donner Lake area. At least check out this sign.
(Caesar's Cottages, located in Kings Beach, California features sleepers, kitchens, and TV. Check out the cozy cottages amidst the trees and the plain, yet descriptive marquee. It looks rather peaceful up in the woods.
