Traveling along the old road in West Sacramento brings you to the Flamingo Motel and its flaming themed marquee. Unfortunately this sign has now been replaced by back lit plastic a few years ago. Another roadside sign has been relegated to a memory.

The Pacific Motel was the first motel encountered along this old highway. It's a shame that this motel marquee was removed.
Along the old highway in Sacramento was this batch of old motels. Unfortunately, time caught up to them and the whole stretch was leveled. Seen here are the Pacific, Ritz, and Rolling Green motels.
