This Brake Services location sports the familiar Bear on its marquee. The sign also appears to be neon, although who knows whether it still lights up these days.

This neon marquee for Engler Bros. Motor Parts was recently saved from destruction during a recent Santa Monica ordinance banning certain signage. The L.A. Conservancy's Modern Committee played a role in saving some of the historic signage of the city from being relegated to the city dump.

This is an interesting sign, though it's backlit plastic. Not sure if has withstood the test of time.
