At Huntington near Santa Clara in Arcadia, CA stood Carpenters Santa Anita. This Carpenters was located across from the Santa Anita Race Track.
The Frontier Drive-in was at 250 W Colorado Blvd in Arcadia. It was torn down in the early 1960's to make way for a gas station run by Rod Phillips, a local engine builder who made a name for himself at Irwindale raceway.

Here is a photo of the Yum Yum Restaurant sign located in Colton CA. This towering sign is at least 50 feet high and a favorite among truckers and travelers alike.
Marie Callender's is a good place to stop for some a pseudo home cooked meal. Their pies are something to behold with a nice thick flaky crust. This sign is also something to behold. It looks like someone's old apron with the "curtain" look. This location is on Whittier Boulevard in La Habra. UPDATE 11/05 : The sign has been replaced with the latest backlit plastic type of sign. 11-05

This parking lot sign points the way to the Casa Vega Restaurant in Sherman Oaks. Looks like this sign still has good working neon on it.
This old roadside marquee stands in the parking lot of the Eldorado Restaurant. From the looks of things, it appears that the neon still works on this sign.
This rooftop sign stands over Chadney's Restaurant in Burbank. Closed since 1998, Chadney's presided over the town since its doors opened November 22, 1973. 10-05
