Hammerford Construction in Whittier is one example of large icons found in Southern California. See other here at Roadside Peek's Southern California Signage Icons.
A true muffler man, the Midas Man in Whittier, CA is in a league of his own when it comes to outfits. Though he sports a smaller body frame (about medium build, I'd say) the Midas man proudly carries a heavy muffler atop the Midas rooftop. See more roadside men here at Roadside Peek's Southern California Roadside Men.
This bear sign contains just an image of the bear. Not sure what happened to the real bear figurine. See others of this bear variety at Roadside Peek's Roadside Bears.
The Cabazon Dinosaur is an interesting story on its own. This postcard image shows the dinosaur glowing by moonlight. See more giants here at Roadside Peek's Southern California Roadside Giants.
The Ballerina Clown in Venice is an oft photographed image that, to many, depicts that L.A. scene. It's an interesting sight to see. See more at Roadside Peek's Southern California Roadside Characters. A somewhat interesting front facade to a ortho business. Check out that smile! And see more at Roadside Peek's Southern California Roadside Art.
