The Gilbert's Cleaners sign in Burbank, CA is a good example of the neighborhood signage that's now becoming all too rare.
Here's an old marquee atop the roof of the Orchid Cleaners. Not sure if this business and old sign are still around these days.
Here's an old marquee for the Rocket Laundry, which features cleaning service within 4 hours. The Rocket Laundry was somewhat close to the old Missile Bowl that was torn down many years ago.

Here's a shot of the sign on the roof of the Encino Cleaners in Encino. This roadside marquee looks like it dates back in time for many a year.
Dallas Cleaners The Dallas Cleaners features drive-in service. Not sure where this cleaners is located in though. For sure, it's not Dallas.
