Check out the Roulette Motel and its interesting casino themed sign off Fremont Street.
The Mid-Towner Hotel and Apartments features an old treasure of a sign that still feature the lettering "cooled by refrigeration" on it. By the looks of things, the neon pieces of the arrow in the middle may have once moved sequentially. This shot was taken from a rather unique vantage point.
The Sky Ranch Motel is a roadside delight. Wonder what this place was like back in the day. Sky Ranch Motel
(Left) The US Motel near the break between Fremont St. and Boulder Highway is a tall sign that stick out over the rooftops. The La Palm Motel and its relatively simple sign sits next door.
The Las Vegas Motel still features a nicely kept up sign along Fremont Street. Not sure if this sign still exists. Check out some of the old motels that still can be found in the Vegas downtown area, many of which are on Fremont Street.
The Cardinal Motel features a wing like marquee (hmm... like a Cardinal?) and sits along Las Vegas Boulevard South. Well, at least it used to. Here's a neon shot of this grand marquee.
The Peter Pan Motel and its eye catching sign just off Fremont Street is a unique one. UPDATE 05/06 : The Peter Pan Motel closed its doors in the last couple of years and appears to be on its last legs. 05-06
The Clark Inn Motel points the way to a busy Fremont Street motel. Well, in this case it was an empty dirt lot. The Clark Inn sign no longer stands, just another of the roadside treasures to fade away to dust.
Here's the Eden's Hotel, located just off of Las Vegas Boulevard. This faded out marquee focuses its boomerang arrow on the housing units. This location appears to be long-term housing these days.
