It's always great to see character signs lit up in neon. The Route 66 favorite Gallup is home to the Lariat Lodge as well as other neon lit motel marquees. 06-06
The Sun 'n Sand Motel features a neon marquee that was restored as part of the Route 66 preservation funding. 06-06
How about the neon for the Royal Palacio Motel, located in Tucumcari, NM. 06-06
The Robin Hood Motel features a classic 60's neon sign and is still in operation. 11-07
Here's the neon sign for the Cactus RV Park. The Cactus used to be an old motel that has been repurposed as a RV park. 03-07
The Monterey Motel features a well lit neon marquee that captures your eye as you turn around the bend along Central Avenue. This Monterey is unique as it proclaims itself as a "non-smokers motel". By the looks of things, the place is also popular as the no vacancy sign was lit. 10-08
