Here's the State Theatre of Austin Texas and its neon facade. The State Theatre is part of the Austin Theatre Alliance and still shows first run movies.

The Ector Theatre still shows old movies every weekend in Odessa, TX.
The Palace Theatre in Corsicana, Texas looks like the building and signage remain in pretty good shape as the theatre itself is still open for business. UPDATE 04/09 : According to The Palace Theatre website, the theatre was built in 1921 as a vaudeville theatre. The theatre is owned by a non-profit organization and has been restored. 04-09
Grand Prairie is home to the Uptown Theater. This theater now appears to be the home to either a Spanish theater or church.
Uptown Theater UPDATE 07/08 : The City of Grand Prairie purchased the Uptown Theater in 2005 and is in the midst of restoring it and rehabilitating it into a 410 seat performing arts center. The grand opening is scheduled for November of this year. The photo taken to the left was by Randy Carlisle in Winter 2007. More information can be found on the Uptown Theater site. The Scott Theatre is located about a block away from the Ector Theatre in Odessa. Check out the fancy space age beacon that substitutes as the theaters marquee. This one is now a church.
A classic grand theatre, the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, TX still features activities at its historical site. Best of all, the lettering on the facade still lights up after all of these years.
