Check out the Strand Theatre, located in Sturgis, MI. The Strand still features an intact blade sign, that may or may not be neon these days. Check out the front marquee with a design popular with the theatres of the same era. The Strand is now a four screen multiplex still showing first run movies. Star Theatre

The Star Theatre is located on South Main in Hannibal, MO. The theatre was built in 1906 and according to the Hannibal Convention & Visitors Bureau, has been restored its original luster. The theatre shows classic movies on a nightly basis and is open as a dinner and movie theatre with a signing and dancing wait staff. 07-08

 

 

Planters Barn Theatre

The Planters Barn Theatre is a historic site from the Mark Twain stories is located in Hannibal, MO. The theatre from 1849 is still going strong. 07-08
