In the old days tiki's were used both at the front of apartment buildings as well as siding decor.
The Tahitian Village Apartments in Northridge features two mirror image A-frames facing each other.
The Trade Winds is a relatively nondescript looking tiki apartment. At least it has a cool name.
The Kona Kai Apartments still looks to be in fine Polynesian form.
The Kahlua Apartments features a large tiki in it front greeting tenants and visitors alike.
This apartment building still features its A-frame and trimming in fine form. Colby Kai The Colby Kai, found in Claremont, sport a tiki entranceway.
Check out the Mauna Loa Apartments in Costa Mesa. Featuring a rather large A-frame, this apartment complex is located somewhat close to Kona Lanes Bowl as well as the former site of the Edwards Cinema.
The Capri Apartments still features a giant palm in front.
