Ah, the automobile. And the pumps that serve them. After the gas rationing of the World War II years were over, people fell over themselves in their lust for travel by motorcar. To meet this pent-up demand for travel, gasoline stations sprung up all over the country, many operated by mom and pop shops. See many of the old classics here.
