Igloo Bar

Here's the Igloo Bar located in the Austria town of Schladming. At this "igloo" place, only one kind of beer was available and I am sure you can guess what it was. This looked like a temporary structure but is was not, and it even had a basement. It was pretty cool inside and larger than you would think with Plexiglas panels and stools that looked like they came form the Jupiter 2, this place was totally 1960"s modern. 04-09

McDonald's

Here are a couple of photos of a certain well known Golden Arches at Loosdorf, right off the freeway and on the way to Vienna. The McCafe part of McDonald's is like Starbucks. It is separate from the usual counter and even has cheesecake and cookies. 04-09

McKebab

Here's a fast food scene from Bratislava, Austria. The familiar golden arches are located here... at a McKebab. It was located just a few doors down from some other familiar restaurants, including a colonel. 04-09

(Far left) Here is the front of the McKebab restaurant. The place even features pizza.

Gafthof Restaurant

Stopping in Schladming and all over the place the popular beer was Schladminger. Here's the Gafthof Restaurant in Schladming serving of course Schladminger beer. It seems from Vienna to Linz nearly every Austrian beer is either Kaiser or Wieselburger but these are scarce in Schladming. It made me realize how regional Austrian beers really are. 04-09
