U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship Memorial

Here's the U.S.S. North Carolina Battleship Memorial, located in Wilmington, NC. The North Carolina finished construction in 1937 and joined World War II. The battleship was decommissioned in 1947. In 1962, the North Carolina was dedicated as a memorial to World War II veterans. More information can be found at the Battleship North Carolina website. 01-08
