Frey's Tramway Gas Station

A cultural landmark for generations, the Albert Frey Aerial Tramway gas station has now been transformed into an art gallery. The old classic petrol pump was preserved from possible demolition by the tremendous efforts of preservation groups, including the L.A. Conservancy.

Here are photos taken in 1998 while the building was being gutted out.
