Not sure where this statue of a guy shooting with a cue stick came from. However, in the background is a remnant of the old Sassy Sally's sign. UPDATE 06/09 : The man holding the pool stick is from a pool hall that used to exist on the corner of Arville and Spring Mountain called Doc and Eddies. Many thanks to Steve Kawalkiewicz for update. 06-09
In this angle, the old Binion's Horseshoe sign for the free parking lot is clearly visible.
An older version of the Horseshoe sign is still in great condition here at the YESCO neon graveyard.
Ever wonder what happened to the old Golden Nugget sign you see in postcards? Well, here it is...
Not sure where the big "W" came from, but the marquee to the right is clearly from Jerry's Nugget in North Las Vegas.
Check out this old marquee for Joe's Longhorn Casino. Anyone remember where this one was located?
Ever wonder what happened to the top of the La Concha sign? Yep, here it is...
Some bits and pieces left over from the old Landmark Hotel.
An old sign for the still existent Modern Cleaners.
Here's a shot of an old Sam Boyd's sign as well as the back end of the Modern Cleaners marquee that used to grace Las Vegas Boulevard in the not so distant past.
Looks like the marquee for some sort of wedding chapel. The "Big W" on the far left side of this image is from the Showboat that used to grace Fremont Street. The Hotel/Casino has now become the Castaways. Many thanks to Jay Lin for photo and to Jim Emory and Allen Sandquist for their knowledge in solving the "Big W" mystery.
