UPDATE : Belmont Garage opened up in Dallas in 1963 as a family owned business. The garage used to be located the corner of Belmont Avenue and Abrams Road was founded by the Lewis family. Ray Lewis who shows up on the sign in this image took over the business from his father in 1978.

Unfortunately, the Belmont Garage shut its doors in late 2022. 07-23

Off the 66 in Shamrock, TX is this truck parts place appropriately named Route 66 Truck Parts. The place at first looks like an old gas station so wonder what it looked like originally. 03-07
