Welcome to the Kahiki Supper Club in Columbus, OH. At least that how you would have felt back in 2000 before the restaurant was demolished for yet another chain drugstore. The Kahiki was built in 1961 and was a prime example of tiki architecture, a south seas type of theme. The Kahiki was honored with being listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997.

The Kahiki Restaurant in Columbus, OH was one of the few remaining vintage tiki treasures left on the mainland. Unfortunately, the Kahiki was bulldozed over in November 2000 after being closed on August 26 by a Walgreen's expansion effort, leaving this historic treasure just a memory.
