Oh, the ol' main street of the downtown/ uptown area of a city. Right next together off the main drag in Indio is the Greyhound Bus Station and a Packard Bell TV Repair shop. Can't get much more retro than this.
The Bollman Furniture building was typical of the furniture stores of yesteryear, some of which still exist today. Notice the all glass front and block lettering out front.
This building for Cavanaugh Electric looks plain. However, it's still interesting to see any store with "electric" in its name in the middle of main street.
