Watch out! Bears are on the loose! This Gardena Bear is just one of other surviving members of the bear family. Check out others here.

Check out this mascot for the Pilgrim Fence Co . This huge thing really catches the eye of travelers passing by.

Carpeteria Genie (Removed)
Whittier, CA

Here's the familiar Carpeteria guy standing proudly over the passersby on Whittier Blvd in Whittier. Or at least when he used to be standing there. This guy was removed in 1998.

Carpeteria Genie

This Carpeteria genie looks like he has lighter hair than the Whittier guy above. Must be the sunshine in the Valley. This one is found in North Hollywood.

This little guy looks like a cousin or relative of the Steak Corral guy below. Not sure if he once held up a porterhouse steak himself, or if he's just giving the passing motorists the thumbs up signal.

Venice, CA

The Ballerina Clown in Venice is an oft photographed image that, to many, depicts that L.A. scene. It's an interesting sight to see.

Toys R Us (Removed)
Rosemead, CA

Here's a shot of Geoffrey the Giraffe standing guard over the Toys R Us in Rosemead, CA. Unfortunately, time has not been good to this giraffe, and he was unceremoniously removed when the store closed down a few years ago. A Levitz Furniture store currently occupies the site. 04-06

UPDATE 01/11 : The Levitz Furniture store has been closed for a few years and the large building off the I-10 remains vacant. 01-11
