UPDATE 09/10 : This old restaurant and bar, which was also once upon a time the Rio Bravo Restaurant, is gone. The signage was removed and the nondescript building is for lease. 12-08
Here's a nice sign sitting outside the Avalon Restaurant off the old
Route 66 in Gallup. This sign also lights up at night.
UPDATE 12/08 : The Avalon Restaurant is gone and the sign has also been removed.
UPDATE 11/20 : There's another restaurant in Gallup that appears to have opened in an old coffee shop looking restaurant. I don't believe the new Avalon Restaurant is affiliated with this old one. The new restaurant is a Chinese restaurant.

Del's Restaurant

Here's Del's Restaurant, located off old Route 66 in Tucumcari, NM. The
big cow on top of the sign is a dead giveaway that you've reached Del's.
This restaurant has been around since 1956.
Just taking a look at this ranch cowboy will want you to come back to
the Ranch Kitchen for some dining. This Route 66 establishment
had been recommended as a decent steak place in the area.
