Here's the West Theatre in Grants all lit up
for another busy night of theatre goers. The theatre opened back in the 1950's and is a well known Route 66 entertainment icon with its brightly lit neon sign gracing the Mother Road. This theatre features two screens.
UPDATE 11/10 : The West Theatre experienced a fire in the front part of the building near the concession stand. Word is a malfunctioning popcorn machine may have been the cause of the blaze. The owner plans to reopen the theatre by the end of the year. For more information, see Route 66 News. 11-10
