Northern Indiana is home to the Cassidy Motel. The marquee for the Cassidy still has neon and an arrow pointing in the direction of the lodging. A tall "motel" sign also advertises this motel from the highway. The Cassidy Motel is a small mom & pop operation that looked to be pretty decent and located just off the Indiana Toll Road at IN 39. 05-09
Check out the South Bend Motel located where else but the town of South Bend, IN. The motel is still open but may now be a month-weekly operation. The sign still looks great though. 05-09
This rooftop sign also found in the town of Three Lakes, WI sits atop the Maple Motel. From the looks of things, unless the tree branches get in the way, the sign could be seen from a decent distance. 09-09
Check out this old sign at the Kenrose Motel. The Kenrose is located a couple of miles west of South Bend and looks to still be in business. From the looks of things, the middle of the sign may have once displayed something else since it's not too often that a marquee would portray the name of the motel twice. In fact, the "vacancy" part of the sign is also duplicated on this motel sign. 05-09
Here's a gem of a roadside motel sign located in Woodruff, WI. The Arbor Vitae Motel still points the way to lodging with it boomerang arrow. 09-09
The Fairwood Lake Motel is another old time roadside motel found in the state of Wisconsin. This motel marquee treasure appears to still feature full working neon tubing on the sign lettering. 09-09
