Sanders Plant

Here is the old long abandoned Sanders Plant in Detroit, MI. Morley candy bought out Sanders about 10 years ago and moved production to the suburbs. The Sanders lettering was removed from the front of the building sometime prior to mid-June 2007. 06-07

 

UPDATE 02/08 : Sanders was a Detroit tradition for over a century when they closed down all the stores. The company that took over the Sanders name has started reopening them. Many thanks to Richard Weiss for update. 02-08

 

 

Budweiser Brewery

Here is the historic Budweiser Brewery in St Louis, MO. This St Louis location is one of its 12 breweries that offer public tours (5 locations offer these tours).

Colgate
Clarksville, IN

Clarksville (or Jeffersonville?) is where you will find the giant Colgate clock, second biggest clock in the country, the first is the Colgate clock in New Jersey (Facing NYC). 02-08

 

 

 

 

Check out the Annheuser-Busch building in Grand Rapids, MI. This building is somewhat curious as the entire structure, including logos, is made of terracotta. 07-08

Here is the monument at Cardiff Hill. As the sign says "Cardiff Hill, made famous by Mark Twain in his books Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn". 07-08
