This other Princess Theatre is located in Rushville, IL. The front facade is rather nondescript, but the building itself is a flashback to the days when movie "houses" was a true descriptor.


"Strip Mall" Theatre

This 1926 gem of a movie palace is undergoing restoration efforts. The Rialto Theatre is open for tours and don't forget to leave a donation towards restoring this classic theatre.


Granada Theatre

In Mt. Vernon, IL is the Granada Theatre. Sadly, this theatre is no longer in business. Another lost treasure from the heyday of single screen theatres.

Mt. Vernon also had a another deco theatre called the Stadium. This too is now defunct.


State Theatre

Fountain Square Theatre

The Fountain Square Theatre is part of a large complex of entertainment near to the downtown area of Indianapolis.


Gem Theatre
Kansas City, MO

Check out the Gem Theatre in Kansas City. This theater was recently restored.


The Gem was built in the early 1900's and still features its "gem" of a neon sign. 11-07
