Strand Theatre
Alma, MI

The Strand Theatre still stands in Alma, MI. The building was clearly remodeled somewhere along the line but the old theatre sign survives. 03-07


Tivoli Theatre
Spencer, IN

The Tivoli Theatre opened its doors on New Year's Eve in 1928. The Mission Revival Tivoli finally closed its doors in 1999 after a period of sparse crowds. On March 30, 2006, the Tivoli was purchased and saved from the demolition that had been earlier scheduled for December 2005. Coral Theatre (Demolished)

The Coral Theater was the place to see first run movies when I was a kid in the 70's. The Coral closed in the early 80's when movie-goers began going to the mall cinema's which featured an unheard of 3 to 6 screens at that time. 06-07
