Here's the familiar sign for the Sky View Drive-in eatery located in the town of Florence, SC. Unfortunately, this well known drive-in burned down in 2008 and was never rebuilt. 11-10

Check out this drive-in eatery located in Hartsville, SC. Ruth's Drive-in was built in the 1950's and still serves roadside food to this day. 11-10

 

 

King Tut Drive-in
Beckley, WV

Beckley, WV is home to the King Tut Drive-in and this prominent crown of a sign. The King Tut Drive-in has been in business since the 1940's and has been owned by the McKay family since 1955. See more at the King Tut Drive-in website. 11-10

 

Dairy Freeze

This is a familiar roadside sight for those who travel down the old highways often. The Dairy Freeze in Fort Smith, AR features a nice roadside sign complete with the image of a soft serve ice cream cone. Imagine seeing one of these while you travel through town on a hot and thirsty day with your tongue hanging out. 11-10
