Here's the Ferguson's Downtown Motel and its super-bright sign that can't be missed by motorists traveling along East Fremont St. According to the motel website, Ferguson's was built in 1953.

The Lucky Motel in Las Vegas still lights up the sky. And yes,
the neon marquee advertises its amenities such as air conditioning and
even TV.

Here's the Blue Angel Motel. And yes, this place has a larger
than life size blue angel atop its roof.

Black Jack Motel (Demolished)

UPDATE 08/06 : The Black Jack Motel was demolished sometime during the summer of 2006. Like itsformer neighbor across the street, the Showboat/Castaways, the Black Jack and its classic Vegas sign is history.
