Lucky Motel (Removed)

The Lucky Motel in Las Vegas still lights up the sky. And yes, the neon marquee advertises its amenities such as air conditioning and even TV.

Update 07/07 : The Lucky Motel marquee no longer stands along Fremont Street. 07-07


Blue Angel Motel

Here's the Blue Angel Motel. And yes, this place has a larger than life size blue angel atop its roof.

Here are a couple of close up shots of the aforementioned blue angel. Still carrying her magic wand,this blonde angel faces out towards Fremont Street.


City Center Motel (Removed)

For some reason, all of the towns with top notch motels have at least one named the City Center. Here's one on Fremont Street that is close to the Fremont Street Experience.

Update 07/06 : The City Center Motel was replaced with a Day's Inn a couple of years ago. The sign is in now in the sign boneyard. 07-06


Black Jack Motel (Demolished)

The Black Jack Motel has a name that typifies the old Vegas.

Update 08/06 : The Black Jack Motel was demolished sometime during the summer of 2006. Like its former neighbor across the street, the Showboat/Castaways, the Black Jack and its classic Vegas sign is history.
