The Chief Hotel Court sign used to sit proudly while the motor court was open in Las Vegas. Now this sign sits proudly along the Neon Museum path.

The Apache Motel in downtown Las Vegas features a classic neon marquee that catches the eye of travelers heading down 4th St.

UPDATE 09/10 : Unfortunately, the motel has met the fate of many other Las Vegas motels and was demolished in early 2010 to make way for the new city hall area. The sign has been donated to the Las Vegas Neon Museum. 09-10

The La Concha Motel off Las Vegas Blvd. still lights up the sky at night. Unfortunately, the top pillar of the sign no longer glows. For that matter, it no longer exists.

Here's a cowboy that lights up in neon alongside Fremont Street. This sign rarely lights up anymore, but at least the marquee still remains.

UPDATE 05/06 : The Valley Motel sign was removed and replaced with a nondescript plastic sign. 05-06

Another of the Las Vegas Boulevard motels still remaining, the High Hat Motel always appears to have it nicely lit up sign well kept up.

The neon for the Fun City Motel just lights up the night along busy Las Vegas Boulevard.

The Yucca Motel is an interesting looking neon sign.

UPDATE 07/10 : The Yucca Motel was demolished earlier this year. The marquee you see at the left was saved and is now part of the Las Vegas Neon Museum sign collection. 07-10

The Downtowner Motel along the Fremont strip still features working neon and advertises decent rates. Not sure if the clientele is permanent housing or traveler lodging though.
