UPDATE 07/08 : The City of Grand Prairie purchased the Uptown Theater in 2005 and is in the midst of restoring it and rehabilitating it into a 410 seat performing arts center. The grand opening is scheduled for November of this year. The photo taken to the left was by Randy Carlisle in Winter 2007. More information can be found on the Uptown Theater site.
