The Scott Theatre is located about a block away from
the Ector Theatre in Odessa. Check out the fancy space age beacon that
substitutes as the theaters marquee. This one is now a church.

The Palace Theatre in Corsicana, Texas looks like the
building and signage remain in pretty good shape as the theatre itself
is still open for business.
UPDATE 04/09 : According to The Palace Theatre website, the theatre was built in 1921 as a vaudeville theatre. The theatre is owned by a non-profit organization and has been restored. 04-09

UPDATE 10/06 : The Alameda Theatre's marquee displayed "Mexican Movies of the US" so apparently there is some life at the old cinema. Unfortunately, nothing appeared to be going on at night so the neon was not lit. 10-06
