 Futuro Building

It looks like a flying saucer landed on Pensacola Beach and decided to stay. The Futuro Building is one of the world's few surviving Futuro houses, and even today it stops plenty of passing motorists in their tracks. 09-10
Designed in the late 1960s as a futuristic, fiberglass home, the saucer-shaped structure was built with everything needed for everyday living, including a bedroom, kitchen, and bathroom. Instead of becoming a vacation home, this one found a second life as the headquarters of the Pensacola Beach Preservation and Historical Society.
Whether you call it the Spaceship House or the UFO House, it's one of those roadside attractions that's impossible to forget once you've seen it.
