Moor Industrial Park Tower (Gone)

Rising above the warehouses along Pennsylvania Avenue, the Moor Industrial Park Water Tower was a familiar part of the Monaca skyline. The name painted across the tank made sure travelers knew exactly which industrial complex they were passing. 01-08

The tower served a 22-acre manufacturing and distribution property dating to 1947. It stood on the Ohio River industrial corridor, long before the enormous Shell cracker plant began changing the local skyline.

UPDATE: Demolition crews brought down the aging water tower on June 26, 2015. The tank and its Moor Industrial Park lettering were cut apart for scrap at the site. 08-26
